Mt. Vernon Cemetery

This cemetery is on the east side of Eldon just to the east of the old Ford dealership. Part of this cemetery is inside a concrete encasement, but the rest lay on the outside and are broken and knocked down.

October 20, 2014 - This cemetery has a new fence around it now – however I did not see the original stones that were broken and down that did lie on the outside of the concrete. It is too bad that whoever put up this nice fence neglected to clean out the trees and brush that are inside the concrete where the other tombstone are.

This cemetery is still in use.
